About Us

Muriel Inard BSc is the Programme Director at The Christian Safeguarding Centre. Muriel studied Psychology at Lancaster University, followed by Children and Youth Praxis at Oak Hill Theological College in London. Currently, she is studying for a Masters degree in Law at the University of London. She served in church-based ministry in the UK for over a decade, gaining broad experience in international and children’s ministry across local churches and conference settings. After relocating to Hong Kong, she served for three years in an international church as both a families’ worker and women’s worker. During this time, she became increasingly aware of the complexities and challenges surrounding safeguarding in the local context. In response, she stepped away from full-time pastoral ministry to focus on equipping churches and Christian organisations in Hong Kong to build stronger safeguarding cultures and create safer environments for all.
